CONSISTENCY AND AROMAT

The consistency is quite light, creamy-gel, like most makeup bases. The color is soft pink, the base (I’ll call it that) doesn’t seem to have a distinct shade, but when distributed under certain lighting it gives off a pinkish hue. I will attach photos below, perhaps you will also notice the difference.

I’m not a fan of analyzing ingredients, but I really wanted to determine for myself what this product is: a skin care product, a base, or combines both functions, which is possible?

I was confused by this statement from the manufacturer:

As you can see from the composition, silicones are listed in the first lines, so what kind of night care or nourishing mask is this then?😬 I’m not against silicones in makeup bases - they perfectly remove skin texture and smooth out pores, but the skin after such makeup cannot be properly cleaned, preferably in 2 stages to avoid clogged pores. Why the manufacturer stated that this product can be used as a night care is a mystery to me, as is the statement about moisturizing for 72 hours. I would advise you to consider this product as a base for makeup with care components in the composition.

MY SKIN : 28 years old, combination, prone to oily skin. There are blackheads and enlarged pores.

APPLICATION AND RESULT

I apply this product to clean, dry skin or on top of serum. It is applied and distributed easily, absorbs quickly enough and does not leave a sticky layer. After absorbing the base, the skin is tactilely very pleasant, smooth, and radiant. I won’t say that the base evens out the tone of the face; the skin looks healthier and fresher precisely because of the radiant finish. My combination skin gets enough hydration from it, but if you have dry skin, you will still have to apply a moisturizer or serum under the base.

I almost forgot to say that the base on the face feels exactly like a skin care product, there is no unpleasant film, like many silicone bases that you can’t wait to wash off as soon as possible.

In the sun: without foundation / with foundation

The foundation applies to this product quite smoothly and beautifully, just like my other skincare products used under foundation. Yes, yes, I didn’t notice any significant difference, either in the difference in applying the foundation, in the time it was worn, etc. Yes, even a matte foundation acquires a beautiful radiant finish, especially noticeable in the sun, but I can achieve the same finish using a product several times cheaper - Sunkiller Sunscreen Essence

With tone: room lighting / in the sun

However, I can’t say that the base disappointed me, it fulfills all the promised properties (well, or almost all; washing my face 2 times a day, I can’t evaluate the hydration for 72 hours): moisturizes the skin, gives smoothness, radiance, serves a good base for foundation. Another question is, is it necessary if I have products that perform the same properties at a more affordable price?

Conclusion : do I recommend this product for purchase? Yes, I advise you if you have the means and “your inner toad doesn’t want to strangle you.” I described all its advantages above. But this is not an indispensable product that will work wonders on your skin, replace full-fledged skin care and act as a night mask; don’t have high hopes for it.
